A Boat
When somebody is close to passing over, you can go into a meditation.
In your imagination, you go across together with your friend in a boat - to the other shore.
You can meet their friends and family who have already crossed.
Let your friend talk with them, sit, celebrate and share.
If you like, ask their family and friends for advice how to help your companion best on this journey.
Come back and maybe let them know.
But maybe just take the advice and write down your experience.
You may want to share it with their family when they have passed over.
This can be of great consolation for them, knowing that their loved one is joining his family
and friends and that they had an encounter already, even if it was just in the imagination.
